Blueberry Protein Pie Donuts

INGREDIENTS
 
Isopure® Unflavored Whey Protein Isolate Powder 1 1/2 scoop
Oil 1 tsp
Flour 1/4 cup
Coconut sugar   1/4 tsp
Salt 1/4 tsp
Baking soda 1/2 tsp
Baking powder 2 tbsp
Unsweetened applesauce  2 tbsp
Unsweetened almond milk 3 tbsp
Egg  1
Vanilla extract  1 tsp
Frozen blueberries  ¼ cup
Maple syrup   2 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375F. Grease a donut pan lightly with oil.

Place the flour, Isopure® Unflavored Whey Protein Isolate Powder, coconut sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder in a bowl and mix well.

In another bowl, combine the applesauce, almond milk, egg, and vanilla.

Whisk to combine. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix lightly.

Gently fold in the blueberries.

Using a piping bag or plastic bag with a corner cut off; pipe the batter into the donut pan.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, until browned. Let cool, and then drizzle lightly with maple syrup. Enjoy!
