|Almond butter + more for topping||1 tsp|
|Unsweetened applesauce||1 tbsp|
|Milk of choice (I used unsweetened almond)||1/4 cup|
|Coconut flour||2 tbsp|
|Baking powder||1/4 tsp|
|Diced apples||2 tbsp|
Place the almond butter, applesauce and milk in a bowl and whisk until uniform.
Add the protein powder, coconut flour and baking powder. Mix well.
Pour the batter into a cup or ramekin and top with dices apples.
Microwave for 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes, until the cake is firm to the touch. Don’t overcook as it gets dry very easily.
Serve immediately, with a drizzle of almond butter (optional).
